England Bowler Impresses in T20 Clash

Chris Jordan, an English bowler, says that Jofra Archer first wicket as an international player gave him chills.

Jofra Archer spectacular return

England beat Pakistan by 23 runs in the second T20 at Edgbaston. Archer’s first game for England since March 2023. He took 2–28.

Injuries over the past few years have badly limited Archer’s playing time. Most recently, an elbow problem kept him out.

The 29-year-old fast bowler, on the other hand, got better in time for the T20 World Cup in June and did very well in his first game back in a year.

“I couldn’t believe he was back,Jordan said.

“It’s well-known about his trip.Seeing him take that wicket was so exciting. He got the first one out of the way and is amazing.”

“He should be proud that he can hit 90 mph after being away from international cricket for so long and still look like he never left and will keep getting better by playing games.”

Overcoming Injury Challenges for T20 World Cup: Jofra Archer

In September 2020, Archer played his first home game for England.

This was his first game in front of a crowd since the 2019 Ashes against Australia.

He last played for England 438 days ago, but he quickly showed them what they’ve been missing.

It wasn’t his best throw that got Azam Khan caught at cover, but getting the wicket was just a reward after another year of recovery.

“He was probably waking up some days and thinking it might not happen again,” Jordan said.

“Bless him; I feel like I’ve seen a change in his vibe, thought process, and everything else in the last six months.”

“He looks really happy to be on the field. I bet he was very scared, even though he didn’t look at it.”

Archer’s Formidable Bowling Performance

England will be most happy to have the Jofra Archer bowl again. However, he also reminded them that he is a useful batter to have lower down the order.

In an interesting appearance of 12 not out from four balls, he hit the first ball for four and then a huge six.

He said, “It’s great to have him back out there for England fans and everyone else who likes him.”

The third T20 match between England and Pakistan will be played in Cardiff on Tuesday. Two days later, the series will end at The Oval.
