College basketball superstar Paige Bueckers tried her luck at craps this past weekend. She was playing with none other than high-profile performer A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie better known as A Boogie.

Photos of A Boogie standing next to UConn’s Bueckers, who showed off her super-fit waist, quickly were posted online and went viral. His entourage surrounded the gaming table.

No word on who won.

Nor is it clear where they decided to play craps. Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun tribal casinos are longer than a short drive from Hartford.

The duo also reportedly shot some hoops somewhere in Connecticut. That location remains a mystery.

Before the gaming table get-together, Bueckers and her UConn women’s basketball teammates watched the acclaimed performer’s hip-hop concert on Saturday at Hartford’s Xfinity Arena.

Brobible reported A Boogie’s concert was sold out, with other performers including NLE Choppa, Luh Tyler, and Byron Messia. It’s part of the star’s “Better Off Alone Global Tour.”

Controversial Past

The musician’s real name is Julius Dubose. The 28-year-old was born in the Bronx and has had his share of controversy.

In 2020, he was arrested in New Jersey for unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of marijuana. A year later he was arrested in London.

In 2021, he was sued by a New Jersey couple for damage they said he did to their $3.3M residence. They sought $260K in the legal action.

He or his friends allegedly clogged up the toilets so badly that they overflowed, and liquids went through the floor of the mansion. The ceilings also were damaged, the owners claimed.

Details on Paige

Bueckers, on the other hand, has kept her clean image. The 22-year-old Minnesota native has played for UConn since 2020.

Standing at 6 feet, the point guard has won seemingly endless athletic honors. These include: AP Player of the Year, Naismith College Player of the Year, USBWA National Player of the Year, the John R. Wooden Award, and was named repeatedly as a first-team All-American.

She remains quiet on her social life. No word on whom she’s dating and she takes school work seriously at UConn’s Storrs campus.

An academic all-American, she has a 3.497 cumulative GPA. She was named to the dean’s list four times. In the fall of 2023, she had a near-perfect 3.930 GPA.

She missed the 2022-23 season due to a tear of the ACL in her left knee.

She looks forward to leading the Huskies to a national championship. If she does, it would be the 12th under legendary coach Geno Auriemma.

When she turns pro, there’s much speculation where she will play in the WBNA.
