If you find yourself in a VIP box at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, do everyone you’re with a favor and walk to the nearest concession stand, where a full pizza with pepperoni will cost $40, not $300.

This pizza and wings cost $653 when ordered to a VIP box at Allegiant Stadium and thats before the tip Image XTwitterBillKrackman

While watching the UNLV Rebels beat the San Diego State Aztecs 41-20 on Saturday night, wrote Las Vegas-based professional sports better Bill “Krackman” Krackomberger in a tweet the next day, a friend of his found out the expensive way how much Allegiant charges for food ordered to a VIP box.

“Never realized what it was going to cost for this slop,” Krackomberger wrote in his caption to photos of the pizza, the wings and the receipt in question. “They treat the luxury suite guests like they are in a club with bottle service.”

This the receipt that Krackman tweeted It does not include a tip or total and was not signed so it can safely be assumed to be the customers copy As of Sunday night Krackman did not answer comments asking whether or not his friend left a tip for Krystal Image XTwitterBillKrackman

The breakdown for the food, as served to the box by Krystal H., was as follows:

  • $300 for pepperoni pizza pie (at $50 per slice when tax and fees are factored in)
  • $190 for chicken tenders
  • $112 for an “administrative charge”
  • $50.48 for sales tax

And That Was Before a Tip!

As per the receipt, the 23% administrative charge “is not a tip or gratuity and is not distributed to service employees.”

Twitter went out of its mind, and rightly so. Three hours after Krackman posted his tweet, it had earned a steadily growing 575K views and a cavalcade of angry comments.

“Unbelievable, disgraceful,” commented @RadekBob.

Added @Onemanwolfepack: “Isn’t the point of a box that it comes with free food and drinks (usually alcoholic beverages even)? At least from my experiences.”

“The grift is that if you blink at the price, everyone knows you’re not a real baller,” commented @ProximalAI. “$653 is the cost of maintaining the illusion.”

Added @USA4DT24: “That’s why Mark Davis’ net worth has tripled since moving the Raiders and building that stadium, cause it sure as hell has nothing to do with the team,” added

“If this isn’t an example of what’s wrong with Vegas rightnow then give me a better example of what is,” commented @DaveHarris87606.

Added @vegas_visual: “The cherry on top is that the facility where this took place is heavily subsidized by the public for the benefit of a billionaire owner and dozens of millionaire employees.”

“I don’t know what the answer to fix this is, but if you are going to hit me with a service charge, I’m not going to tip,” commented @LoanNinja. “I know how unpopular a statement that is. But, in order to get behaviors changed by management, the front line people are going to have to bear some of the short.”

We’ll close with our favorite comment so far, from: @hoops_scout11: “Burnt crust. That’s at least a $200 refund.”
