International Travel to Las Vegas Is Skyrocketing, Says LVCVA

According to Joel Van Over, the senior director of Atlanta-based international aviation development company Ailevon, new flights from a number of international air carriers are on the verge of reaching a record number of flights from foreign countries.

Air Travel to Las Vegas to Fully Recover by Q4

Over, who is also the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority’s (LVCVA) airline development consultant, addressed the LVCVA on Tuesday, explaining global air travel capacity to Las Vegas will go through a complete recovery from the dramatic drops recorded during the pandemic by Q4

Namely, Ailevon’s senior director who will also work on Las Vegas’ behalf for additional airlift during the upcoming 2024 World Routes Conference in the Kingdom of Bahrain in October, spoke about the international air capacity’s levels reaching 104% of the pre-pandemic figures.

This will occur by the end of 2024. Going into more detail, Over explained flights from all global destinations with the exception of Canada will exceed full capacity. Canadian flights will be at 99%.

“Neon City Festival” in Downtown Las Vegas to Bring in More Visitors

The optimistic numbers presented to the LVCVA could be backed up by the inaugural Neon City Festival (NCF) that will take place between November 22-24 on the streets of downtown Las Vegas

NCF is a pioneering music and culinary event in the Entertainment Capital of the World which is about to get even more entertaining and automatically attract more visitors.

Reminiscent of Sin City’s most prolific entertainment moments, the festival, which will allow free entrance for guests of all ages, will bring together talented musicians, laser art shows, local food and beverage vendors, fireworks, and more.

The “festival without fences” is set to change downtown Las Vegas and turn it into a sprawling playground in the open air, spreading from the Arts District all the way down to Las Vegas Blvd. and The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower

The festival, which was created by downtown Las Vegas casino owner Derek Stevens, has the support of the LVCVA and will be supervised by Neon City Festival’s chief executive officer Jeff Victor

The weekend festival, meant to show appreciation for both Las Vegas visitors and locals, “is set to be exceptionally busy” and become a “major event that appeals to a variety of ages and demographics,” as explained by CEO Victor.

Last month, Truist Securities’ analyst Barry Jonas emphasized Las Vegas Strip’s strong performance and excellent growth prospects as operators were approaching their 2Q earnings reports.
